Mariano Amezcua is named the new president of Karl Mayer North America. He succeeds Tony Hooimeijer, who will retire on March 1, 2023. Amezcua will oversee all business operations and strategic initiatives of the US subsidiary of Karl Mayer Group, Obertshausen/Germany.
Amezcua has more than 25 years of experience in sales and professional services for industrial automation and software applications. His primary focus has been on the development and implementation of manufacturing strategies for cut & sew operations in the automotive, furniture, technical textiles and apparel industries. Most recently, he served as President and CEO for DAP America, Inc., Norcross, GA/USA.
